Sesleria 'Greenlee's Hybrid'

Greenlee Moor Grass. An evergreen blue-green grass with a clumping habit to about 12 inches tall with an equal spread.  Pale purple flower form just above the foliage from late spring through summer in our garden. It has performed well in a wide range of conditions - wet to dry, sun to shade.  It is a presumed hybrid between Sesleria caerulea and S. autumnalis discovered by John Greenlee in 2006 at his nursery.  Greenlee moor grass is an excellent choice in mixed meadows, massed as a lawn alternative, or as an accent in a perennial borders.
